Log into the Dashboard. If you do not have an account, you must create one. 

  • Compatible browsers for the licensing portal: Google Chrome and Firefox
The portal is not compatible with mobile devices or tablets/iPads. You MUST use a computer. The portal works best with a Google Chrome browser.
2 Once you have logged in, there will be a renewal button at the bottom of the screen.  Your renewal option is only available 60 days before your expiration date.

The licensee portal is not compatible with mobile phones or tablets. You must use a computer/laptop to renew. 

 

In-person services are not available. All renewals must be done online. 

Renew Salon License

Create an account in the portal. Please ensure you are filling out all necessary information and documents. This will make the application process easier. 

  • If you are an existing licensee, log into your portal account. 
 
2 On the left side navigation bar, select 'Manage Establishments.'   
3 Select the blue link that says 'Manage Business.'  
4 A new window will appear for your establishment. Select 'Renewals' on the left navigation bar.  
5 Select your establishment and fill out the required information.

Pay the renewal fee.

  • You will receive a payment receipt in your email. 
 
After Renewal Submittal Staff will need to review and approve your documents. Once your information is accepted, your license will be emailed to you from the portal. 

Renew Barber Shop Establishment License

 

If I am renting a salon suite, do I need a salon establishment license?

Yes, if you are in a salon suite, you must have an establishment license. If you move suites within a building, you must submit a Suite Change Application and notify the Arizona Barbering & Cosmetology Board within 10 business days. 

See the salon suite requirements to make sure you have everything you need. 

I have closed my shop/salon. What do I do?

If you closed your salon/shop/school, you must notify the Arizona Barbering & Cosmetology Board within 10 days of closing. Please fill out the Establishment or School Closure form.

My salon establishment license was recently issued but I don't see it in my account. What do I do?

If you are a licensed aesthetician, cosmetologist, hairstylist or nail tech, you will not see your establishment license in your portal. You must create a new account in the portal using your establishment license number and tax ID (if applicable). 

I need to renew but change my salon/barber shop address. How can I do that?

If you move locations, you must submit a new establishment application.
