Renew Cosmetology School License

Cosmetology schools must be renewed yearly before June 30. You can begin to renew 60 days prior to June 30.

Fill out all of the necessary application information and supporting documents.

After you have filled out the application, you must verify the email address you listed on your application. The verification link is good for 48 hours. If you do not confirm your email address and then move on to the payment, your application will not be submitted

  
3 Select ‘Confirm Email’ on the email sent and then fill out the payment information.   
4 After you have filled out the payment information, you must select ‘Authorize’ on the Order Review page.   
5 The application process is complete once you get to the payment confirmation page. You will receive an email from the Barbering & Cosmetology Board saying that your renewal has been submitted. 
 		  
Note This is a new process where we do not require you to send in your full course catalogs. You only need to submit the items that have changed. If you've added a new course, we need the subject description for each new course and its schedule. If you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected].

Create an account in the portal. Please ensure you are filling out all necessary information and documents. This will make the application process easier. 

  • If you are an existing licensee, log into your portal account. 
  
2 On the left side navigation bar, select 'Manage Schools.'   
3 Select the blue link that says 'Manage School' next to the name of your school.  
4 A new window will appear with your school account. Select 'Renewals' on the left navigation bar.

Select your school and fill out the required information.

Pay the renewal fee.

  • You will receive a payment receipt in your email.
  
After Renewal Submittal Staff will need to review and approve your documents. Once your information is accepted, your license will be emailed to you from the portal. Renew Barber School License
