*Please note that the application must be notarized and you must include a cashier's check or money order of $600. 

Please utilize the check list on the first page of the application to ensure you have all of the necessary documents. 
After the Application New school applications take a minimum of six weeks. After six weeks, you will receive a call from an Arizona Barbering & Cosmetology Board inspector to schedule the school's initial inspection. If you do not have all of the necessary information, you will receive an email from the Board.   

 

Barber School

Create an account in the portal. 

If you are an Arizona licensed barber, you will log into your account. 

You MUST use a computer as the portal is not compatible with mobile devices or tablets. 

We recommend using Google Chrome as your browser. 
2 On the left side, select 'Manage Schools.'

3 Select the 'Create School' button on the top and fill in all of the required information. The school has now been created.   
4 Select 'Manage School.'  A new window will appear where you will select the 'New Application' button and select 'Barber School Application.'  
5 Select the blue 'Continue' link.   
6 Fill in and attach all of the requested information.   
7 Pay for the school application.  Barber School Application
After Application Submittal New school applications take a minimum of six weeks. After six weeks, you will receive a call from an Arizona Barbering & Cosmetology Board inspector to schedule the school's initial inspection. If you do not have all of the necessary information, you will receive an email from the Board.   

 

Ownership Change

If there's been an ownership change, you must submit a new school application.
