Renew Personal License

Licenses expire every two years on your birthday. Initial licenses may not be valid for a full two years, they will expire on your second birthday, whichever comes first.

This is a brand new portal that launched on February 24, 2025. Everyone must create a new account**

Create an account in the new portal. 

  • Select the 'Sign up now' link or create an account using a social account.  Please use the email address that is already associated with your license.
  • When creating your account, please make sure you use the name that is on your license. This means you must use your legal first and last name so that it connects with your license.
  • If you were approved as an eyelash technician, please log into that account. 

If you create an account and you do not see your license information, please contact us through the 'Contact Us' form. This means that the information you entered does not match what we have in our system.

2 Select 'Renewals' on the left side under your contact information.  You can renew your license starting 60 days before the expiration date.
3 Complete the required information. 
  • If you do not have a photo in our system, you will need to upload a photo to complete your renewal. The photo must be from the shoulders up in front of a white background. This photo should be a passport-like photo.
  • You must provide proof of citizenship. This can be a passport, Arizona driver's license or birth certificate. If you provide a birth certificate, you must also provide photo identification.

Pay the renewal fee of $60. 

  • You will not be able to make your renewal payment unless all of the  requirements are completed.

After Renewal Submittal Your renewal is not automatic. Staff will need to review and approve your documents. Once your documentation is accepted, you will receive an email from the portal to log back in and print your license.

*If your photo is not being accepted, it may be because your file size is too large.

Renew Barber License

 

If your name has changed due to marriage, divorce, citizenship or other, you will need to update your license. 

  • Log in to the portal.
  • Select 'Name Change' in the left navigation bar.
    • Select 'New Application' and 'Name Change Application.'
    • Select 'Continue.'
    • Enter the updated name and click 'Save'
    • Upload the legal document showing the name change under 'Proof of Name Change.'
