Cosmetology, Aesthetician and Nail Technology

Arizona utilizes a national-based exam through the National Interstate Council of State Boards of Cosmetology. Nail Tech, Aesthetics and Cosmetology have computer-based exams for both their theory and practical. Hairstyling and instructors have a computer-based exam for their theory and a practical in-person. The Cosmetology, Aesthetics, and Nail Technology practical is offered in English or Spanish.

2	After passing both exams, you can apply for licensure with the Arizona Barbering & Cosmetology Board. The Arizona Barbering & Cosmetology Board will receive your test results directly from PCS.	License Application
